In the year 1970 the world's summer plagues were "In the Summertime" and "Yellow River".
In September that year, while playing in Davos, Switzerland, we got the request to quickly record these two songs for the Yugoslav record company "Jugoton".
The demand for it was high, but no discs to sell (some license problem ...)
After our recordings were made and tapes delivered to the record company, nothing happened until the spring of 1971.
Just in time for summer 1971 the record was released, in competition with two recordings from other groups.
And now even the original recordings from the bands “Mungo Jerry” and “Christie” had been released.
Despite all these adversities, the record was successful, stayed on the sales list all summer and reached number 4 as the highest place.
The rest of the records here are issued later as “follow up” of the success, but didn't make any measurable impact.
